Youth and children’s
 
Please give thanks for

• the continued work among youth and children.
• the decision to look for a full-time youth and children’s worker.
• the Easter services and assemblies with four schools.
• the start of the work with 11-16’s on a Sunday at 11am.

 
Please pray for

• the person God has in mind for us to appoint to see the advert when it comes out
• the Diocese to come forward with details of the financial help it is willing to give us.
• the writing of the job description so that it is clear but not too daunting.
• the stewardship campaign to raise the funds we need to make the appointment secure for the next five years.
• God to continue to give us the wisdom we need so that everything is done in the right way and at the right time.
• that the new monthly 11am provision for 11-15’s settles down and for Anthony and Sherie as they lead this new group.
• the Junior Church continuing to pray for regular and consistent attendance.
• the Junior Church team as they lead each week to be inspired by the Bible passages they teach so they can teach the children Gospel truth.
• the creche team as they serve the youngest members of our church family and their parents.
• for Baby and Toddlers team led by Pam as they engage with largely unchurched people week by week.
• the Tuesday Bay Ignite congregation that the increasing size and age range would not mean people struggle but rather we would see God do more than we think or imagine possible.
• the people who cook week by week for safety and enjoyment in this important role.
• the team who leads the Wednesday youth club and those who attend.

  
Please pray for anything else that the Lord lays on your heart.
 

 
Annual meetings
 
Please give thanks for

• those who have served on the PCC this year.
• the good financial position we find ourselves in and the options this gives us to see God’s work in this place grow.
• the opportunity these meetings give us to reflect on God’s goodness to our church family.

 
Please pray for

• the right people to be appointed as churchwardens.
• the right people to be appointed as Deanery Synod representatives especially praying for them in their relationship with representatives from other churches.
• the right people to be appointed as PCC representatives.
• as it seems likely that we might have an election for some of these roles that those not elected will find the places where they can serve God in our church family.
• those who are continuing on the PCC to continue to know God’s leading and guidance.
• those new to the PCC to quickly understand how it works and feel part of the team.
• those who volunteer for the hospitality team to be a welcoming face for all who attend our services whenever and wherever they take place.
• for Annette as she continues in the role of Parish Safeguarding Officer.
• for Tony as he continues as our Treasurer.
• for Emma as she continues in her new role as PCC secretary.
• wisdom for the PCC in the year ahead as they continue to work with Anthony and the staff team to see God’s work in this place prosper.
• those who attend the meetings to leave excited and encouraged by God’s work in our church family.
• the time afterwards when we share lunch together to be a joyful time.
• the first meeting of the new PCC which will take place the Thursday after the Annual Meeting which has to do a lot of practical business.
